Growing up among charismatics, I heard genuine concerns about how success is achieved, how it affects spirituality, and how it should be measured against Christian principles. These concerns were understandable, especially when some committed brothers appeared to become lukewarm and arrogant after attaining success.
Over the years, I have seen how the subject of success in the pulpit continues to divide opinion.
This Sunday, I begin a new teaching series at Pleasant Place Church titled Success Secrets from the Parables of Jesus. In this series, I will address success from a biblical worldview and show how believers can pursue excellence in a highly competitive world without compromising their spirituality.
